A big THANK YOU to all who helped make the physical exams for our local area high schools a BIG SUCCESS! With a LOT of help from a great crew of docs, PAs, ARNPs, therapists, and staff, we were able to complete 375 physical exams for the student athletes of our community!
Docs, PAs and ARNPs who were able to attend included Lynn Chacko, Jeff McDougall, Kyle Anderson, Cathy Rossi, Craig Snow, Su Pachaidee, Mike Thomas, Kurt Hensel, Rich Marino, Deb Marino, Arianna Lee, TJ Foell, Ruddy Ruiz, Jose Santiago, Gary Dana, and myself.
Therapists from Beachside Physical Therapy, who did the musculoskeletal portion of the exam, included Brian Pogue, Brian Baney, Jeremy Stewart, Bryan Downs, and Todd Santore.
Staff from within and outside of MIMA included: Becky Wey, Tina Huffman, Jennifer Baden, Marlene Baden (non-MIMA), Christina Pittman, Erin Hughes (FIT athletic trainer), Vicki Safon, Nicole Lamarca, Steffanie Bennett, Sandy Tyler, Barbara Stevens, Stacey Gilbert, Laura Murphy, and Susan Gauthier.
Beachside Physical Therapy and Pfizer reps Mike Fishman and Brian Stanton brought coffee, juice and some nice breakfast fare to keep us rolling. Many hands make light work, and all the support from these folks made things go very smoothly! There were a lot of “thank you’s” from the students and their parents, as well as the coaches and athletic directors from Satellite, Mel High, Eau Gallie, MCC, and West Shore High Schools. The hard work on Saturday morning by these individuals was greatly appreciated by those in our community!
